Many years ago, when I first started my medical practice and The Sloane Clinic team of doctors, nurses and apothecary staff was filling ampoules on a refurbished ping pong table, we vowed if The Sloane Clinic was successful, giving back would be the most important thing we as an organization could do.
On the same vein, with this book, I hope that my part of the proceeds which will go towards the
Tetraplegic Workgroup of Singapore
will help generate greater awareness of the condition, and encourage more participation and volunteerism for the disabled community in Singapore.
